Pokemon Diamond was released alongside Pokemon Pearl as the fifth installment in the Pokemon series. The plot was familiar as most Pokemon games are, you follow a young adventurer as s/he goes between towns collecting gym badges and catching Pokemon.
The two version’s strong point was the introduction of trading and battling online against other players around the world. Each version had exclusive Pokemon which made trading a must to catch all the Pokemon.
